The weather this weekend was beautiful for Mother's Day. And what a new meaning it has to me now! Although premature, Jonas and I did celebrate it as our first Mother's Day with Baby Ng. Baby Ng's present to me came early in the form of its kicking this week. Jonas' present to me were beautiful flowers that were waiting for me at home.
And although he was as sick as a dog, we went for a walk on Spanish Banks and had some fish and chips that I had been craving for a week. We also went to Dairy Queen to indulge in my ice cream cake craving, which was absolute HEAVEN.
During the evening, we took my mother out for a family dinner to celebrate for a Chinese feast. And even though my other mom is not here locally, we sent her some lovely tulips. All in all, it was a wonderful Mother's Day weekend and it's hard to believe that in a year, Baby Ng will be about 8 months old and celebrating with us in person.
