Today was another good visit with the doc, and we finally got video of Baby Ng's heartbeat! However, everytime the doctor placed the doppler near the baby, it kept swimming away from it. This has led us to a couple of conclusions.
1. Our baby is very shy and does not enjoy the attention being focused on him/her.
2. Our baby likes their 'alone' time as much as their mommy and daddy, and simply did not want to be bothered at that moment.
3. Our baby was sleeping or resting comfortably, and we disturbed it with the intrusive doppler.
We are probably wrong on all three, but we think it's fun to speculate and see what kind of personality it has already.

ReplyDeleteSo exciting! I bet you have an active little one in there...babes was probably swimming around having fun completely oblivious to the doppler :)...BF was the same! Never aware that we just wanted to hear her precious little heart :)
