Our most recent mid-week excursion led us to Bloedel Conservatory in Queen Elizabeth park. One of the things I noticed about having a baby is that you get to rediscover your city in a whole different way. Neither Jonas or I ever recall going to Queen Elizabeth park, and we didn't even know there was a conservatory there. Normally, I am not a fan of birds, but these were quite beautiful. And they left us alone, so I quite liked them! There was also a wonderful water park/fountain there too.

Enjoying the water fountain/park (and some of Daddy's ice cream cone)
