Teething???

Is it possible that my dear boy is teething already????

It's been an interesting couple of days. Griffin seems to be taking in a different persona again- or rather he is getting older and discovering things! All of a sudden, he has been pinching, grabbing my hair, or grabbing my shirt. We also think he may be teething. Anything that comes near his mouth, he tries to shove in. For example, his bibs, washcloths etc. We have to constantly pull the bib from out of his mouth, and he has taken to chomping on my finger.

I have heard that teething can begin this early. I am not sure if I am happy for the early teething or not? We also suspect he may start to eat solid foods early too, because he loves to stare at us while we chew food and eat. I have heard that showing interest in food is a sign of early eating. I know he has quite a while to go before that happens, but I seriously cannot WAIT for him to begin solids. This will be a MAJOR event in our lives. And only because he has had moments of being such a fussy eater at the bottle, that we look forward to giving him food from a spoon.

He has also been much more stimulated lately. We went to work with Daddy the other day, and I took him to the gymboree while we waited. He is still too young to play on anything, but he was taking in all the scenery. Unfortunately, could not take pictures again because I had to carry him the whole time.

So interesting how babies can be one way when they go to sleep, and wake up and acquire all these new skills. I love it!
