While it seems like we still have a long way to go in the teething department, at long last, a tooth is born. Or in its beginning stages at least, and just shy of Griffin's six month birthday.
Griffin's teething has definitely taken its toll on everybody, but on him most of all. We've been checking every single day for weeks for an erupted tooth. And after running my finger along his gums a couple of days ago, I felt a small sharp point along the bottom of his gums, in the middle. We suspect his top incisor will be next. Meanwhile, we still have a bit of a fussy baby that requires a great deal of comfort from us.
It's hard to imagine Griffin with a mouthful of teeth. Obviously, this is a huge thing in his life. But I think I will miss his adorable gummy smile.
