I am absolutely convinced that Baby Ng is a little Mexican Jumping Bean. The baby kept me awake all night last night, into the wee hours of 4:30 am jumping around. And this was all after a conversation that I had with my mother-in-law, on the very same night about how much good sleep I had been getting lately. I think I jinxed myself! Of course, I can't blame my lack of sleep completely on the baby. I think my stomache decided to do a major growth spurt as well, as I could not find any comfortable position, no matter how hard I tried. I have noticed the sides of my stomache hurting lately, and this does have everything to do with my belly stretching. The lack of sleep is probably good preparation for what lies ahead.
On another note, Jonas and I spent the weekend organizing and making trips to IKEA and Home Depot. I seem to be in a major nesting mood, and want everything clean, clean, clean and as organized as possible. There is still a ton to do, but at least we are making little progress. So far, we have purchased a baby bathtub, a set of drawers for the baby, and a little froggie thingy to hang on the wall for some toys or other miscellaneous things. We also bought a change pad, as we opted against buying an actual changing table. It was exciting to buy these few things, as we could not wait to start using them. Especially the drawers, which we figure will take the baby into the first few years of their life. I can't wait to fill it up with little baby clothes!

Awwww!! Hooray for baby stuff. Does your dresser smell? Our whole condo smelled like IKEA wood for about a week, and I just loved that smell.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny to look at the stuff and realize it's for baby? I keep looking at the crib and not really computing that there'll be an ACTUAL baby sleeping there. OUR baby!
One dresser that will in NO time be completely full of clothes from all those that care about you. Soon enough you will run out of space! SO exciting.
