Dinner with Auntie Cara and Uncle Charlie

Last night, Jonas and I had a lovely dinner with Auntie Cara and Uncle Charlie. They are two other people in our lives that are very near and dear to us. Our baby is so lucky to have all these loving people in his/her life! It was a great night to meet up with them, as I was feeling energized and nausea-free for the first time in over two weeks. So we got to visit with them for quite a while and talked about everything from the Olympics to baby names. We love Cara and Charlie for their values, their respect for others, and their opinions, and we hope our baby will inherit some of those strong traits. As I was sitting at the table with them, I was constantly wondering what it was going to be like when our little baby will be joining us on these family dinners and gatherings? The thought of it filled me with excitement and anticipation as I cannot wait for our little one to be there with us, sitting with us, eating with us and eventually, chiming in with her/his own little voice. Charlie and Cara are going to make an amazing Aunt and Uncle, as will my brothers and sisters and close friends. This little baby is going to be surrounded by so much love!
